MLS 2012, Midweek 10 Preview And Fixtures: More Wednesday Fun!

There are a lot of tired and suspended players for this week’s midweek matches, which as we know, are less than enticing to begin with.

It’s time for more Wednesday fun, MLS style! Teams play matches no on national TV, the attendance is disappointing and so is the quality play as that whole “depth” thing takes its toll. You know the drill.

New York Red Bulls vs. Houston Dynamo

Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. ET, MLS Live

This is the last match of the great Dynamo road show as their stadium gets set to open on their new stadium on Saturday. The crosscountry trip from Los Angeles to New York isn’t great for the Red Bulls, but try complaining to the Dynamo about travel and you might get punched in the face.

Pick: Draw, 1-1.

Chicago Fire vs. Real Salt Lake

Wednesday, 8:30 p.m. ET, MLS Live

At some point RSL will start looking good again. They looked awful in beating Toronto two weeks ago and didn’t look much better in defeating the Revs on Saturday, but they are still Salt Lake and that holds water for at least a little while longer.

Pick: Salt Lake, 2-1.

FC Dallas vs. Seattle Sounders

Wednesday, 8:30 p.m. ET, MLS Live

Blas Perez and Daniel Hernandez were sent off last match for being, well, there's no nice way to properly express the massive $&#@(s they were. Point is, they're out for Dallas, so have fun, Seattle.

Pick: Seattle, 2-0.
