Update: Spain 4-0 Italy, Final Score

The long wait (OK, it wasn’t that long) is finally over. Spain and Italy contest the final of Euro 2012 on Sunday night, clashing in a rematch of their Group C opening fixture. That match was a very well-played 1-1 draw, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the final play out in similar fashion.

Italy's team will be a bit different, however, as Cesare Prandelli has said that he will not be going back to the 3-5-2 formation he used against Spain last time. A back four and four central midfielders are expected from the Azzurri, but exactly who will play is still a mystery. Spain's team is a little more straightforward, with only the striker spot in question. Cesc Fabregas started against Italy and is widely expected to get the nod again.
