VIDEO: Just Call Him D-Air-En Mattocks

We often wonder what would happen if the best athletes in the world played soccer. Luckily, we have Darren Mattocks to provide an answer. The Vancouver Whitecap jumped about 500 feet high to beat the horribly outmatched Milos Kocic for a ball on which Mattocks ended up scoring the equalizer on Wednesday. Although the Whitecaps went on to lose the game, they'll at least have the memories of Mattocks soaring into the ionosphere to score this spectacular goal.


So, a hardy thank you to Mr. Mattocks who shows that there are some pretty decent athletes actually playing this little game of ours.
