Fortuna Düsseldorf Sign Andriy Voronin On Season Long Loan
Fortuna Düsseldorf has signed Andriy Voronin on a on year loan from Russian Premier League side Dynamo Moscow.

Voronin’s agent Andrei Golovash said, ”“There were options in Russia, but Andriy wanted to continue his career in the Bundesliga and the offer from Fortuna was the most optimal for us.”
After a few disappointing seasons with English Premier League side Liverpool, Dynamo Moscow bought Voronin for £4 million. He struggled during his first season in Russia but rebounded well this season finishing with 11 goals in the league. He’s had a falling out with manager Sergei Silkin, and the club transfer listed him last month at his request.
He will be the third forward that Düsseldorf has brought in this summer with Stefan Reisinger joined from Freiburg and Nando Rafael joining from Augsburg. Düsseldorf will have their work cut out for them if they want to stay in the Bundesliga this season, and they will be counting on Voronin to contribute by scoring his fair share of goals.
