Arsene Wenger has stated that he has no plans to buy a replacement for Robin Van Persie, as he has already made arrangements to cope with life after the Dutchman.

Arsene Wenger says that he has no need for a replacement for Robin van Persie, as Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski will fill the gap left by the Dutchman’s departure.
The Arsenal boss signed Montpellier's Olivier Giroud and FC Koln's Lukas Podolski earlier in the transfer window, and believes that their signings will be enough to replace the contributions of last season's Player of the Year. The Arsenal boss stated: "We have already recruited. Giroud and Podolski were intended to offset the departure of van Persie."
The Dutch international is set to travel to Manchester to have a medical with the Red Devils before finalising personal terms.
Wenger also insisted that he had little choice in the matter, contrary to reports from David Ornstein the BBC, claiming: "He is at Manchester United, unfortunately for us. The transfer was finalised in the afternoon. It's never great to lose players of that quality but he only had a year left on his contract so we do not have a choice."
Despite Wenger's confidence in his attack, Arsenal's transfer business may not be entirely concluded, with suggestions from Ornstein, among others, that he may move for additional defensive or midfield cover before the window closes at the end of the month.
