Vitesse Arnhem have confirmed that 23-year-old left back Alexander Buttner will has joined Manchester United. He’ll serve as Patrice Evra’s understudy.

Don’t expect to see too much of him in the Premier League unless Evra goes down with an injury or something though. The League Cup seems like a better sort of bet.
