Norwich City vs. Liverpool: lineups

Liverpool name an inexperienced lineup to face Norwich City at Carrow Road, with Suso, Raheem Sterling and Andre Wisdom all in the starting eleven.

Brendan Rodgers has named three youth players in his starting lineup as Liverpool travel to Carrow Road to face Norwich.

Suso, Raheem Sterling and Andre Wisdom all start for the Reds as Liverpool struggle with defensive injuries and a lack of depth in forward positions. Fabio Borini, who has struggled for form since joining Liverpool from Roma, is dropped to the bench. Wisdom is perhaps the biggest surprise, with many expecting Sebastian Coates to get the nod to cover for Martin Kelly's injury.

Norwich, meanwhile, also drop one of their forwards in Grant Holt. A revelation last season, the burly striker has not yet scored this season and has been moved to the bench with Steve Morison preferred up front for the Canaries.

Norwich City: Ruddy, R. Martin, Barnett, Turner, Garrido, Johnson, Howson, Snodgrass, Surman, Morison, Jackson. Bench: Bunn, Holt, Hoolahan, E. Bennett, Tierney, R. Bennett, Tettey

Liverpool: Reina, Wisdom, Skrtel, Agger, Johnson, Gerrard, Allen, Sahin, Suso, Suarez, Sterling. Bench: Jones, Carragher, Henderson, Downing, Assaidi, Coates, Borini.

It was previously reported that Spieth, Thomas and Fowler all went in on Leeds United. That does not appear to be entirely the case.
