Luciano Becchio joins Norwich City in Steve Morison swap deal

Luciano Becchio has left Leeds United to join Norwich City, the Sky Sports News have confirmed. The Argentinian centre forward, 29, is part of an attacking overhaul at Carrow Road -- Chris Hughton's already seen Kei Kamara arrive on loan from MLS -- and attacking one of the Championship's most prolific strikers to the mix behind Grant Holt means that they'll be able to keep their star striker fresh as well as be able to go to a proper 4-4-2 should they need to.

Going the other way is a pile of cash plus Steve Morison, who saw plenty of time with Norwich in the 2011/12 season but has found himself with fewer opportunities in the post-Paul-Lambert era. Given that Becchio had handed in a transfer request at Leeds, they’ve done remarkably well to get Morison out of the deal -- he might be worth more than Becchio straight up, and Norwich had most of the leverage here.

It was previously reported that Spieth, Thomas and Fowler all went in on Leeds United. That does not appear to be entirely the case.
