Arsenal’s Kieran Gibbs ruled out for three weeks
Arsenal left-back Kieran Gibbs has been ruled out for three weeks with a thigh injury.

The left-back went off injured during Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Wednesday night, and will now be absent for games against Stoke City and Sunderland, as well as potentially missing the Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
Arsene Wenger responded to the news, saying: "Of course it's a blow for us. He is important for us going forward and the game we want to play."
Gibbs' replacement in the game against Liverpool was the much-maligned Andre Santos, and it appears the Brazilian is likely to take the role in his stead, although Thomas Vermaelen could also be moved there. With the transfer deadline approaching, time is running out if Arsenal want to make a move for another defender. Nothing has so far been suggested, although the timing of the injury could be a big blow to the Gunners.
