England vs. Montenegro, 2014 World Cup qualifying: Preview and TV schedule

England will need two wins to round off their qualifying campaign and secure their spot in the World Cup, starting with Montenegro at Wembley.

Mike Hewitt

England may be top of their group, but Roy Hodgson's men will require two wins against Montenegro and Poland to be sure of their progression to Brazil 2014.

Fortunately for the Three Lions, their first game against Montenegro comes at a time when their opponents are suffering from a number of injuries. Captain Mirko Vucinic is the most significant absence, but key defender Marko Basa, Miodrag Dzudovic and Mladen Bozovic are all also unavailable. In addition, Stevan Jovetic, while available, is not believed to be at full fitness.

For the England camp, most of the news has centred around the fact that Arsenal's Jack Wilshere may be dropped, with Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard lining up in midfield. Danny Welbeck and James Milner (who had been suffering from a minor calf injury) are expected to start on the flanks, with Wayne Rooney and Daniel Sturridge up front. Anything other than a win could be potentially disastrous for England, with their opponents just a point behind along with Ukraine, and even Poland only trailing by three points.

Match Date/Time: October 11th, 8 p.m. BST, 3 p.m. ET

Venue: Wembley Stadium, London, England

TV: FOX Sports 1 (U.S. English), FOX Deportes (U.S. Spanish), ITV1, UTV (U.K.), Sportst Regional (Canada), Sportklub Croatia, TVCG1 (Montenegro)
