In an official statement, Valencia have declared that they have reached a "full agreement" with AC Milan for the transfer of Adil Rami, adding that the defender -- who has reportedly already completed a medical in Italy -- has been given permission to train with his new team until the January transfer window opens and the deal officially goes through.
Valencia confirm Adil Rami’s move to AC Milan
Valencia have confirmed that defender Adil Rami is heading to AC Milan in January.

The French international is initially joining the rossoneri on loan, though Valencia confirmed that an option to buy the 27-year-old outright is included in the deal. Rami started the season as one of Valencia's first-choice centre-backs, though -- presumably due to the ongoing dealings with AC Milan -- hasn't appeared since.
He had been a regular at the Mestalla since arriving from Lille a couple of seasons ago, and should be a good addition for a Milan side who're making having a terrible start to the season an annual affair. Their current defensive pairing of Philippe Mexès and Cristián Zapata has failed to convince over the last couple of seasons and Rami should be able to tighten things up -- just a shame he can't play sooner.
