Maybe there are boys underwear competitions that are well-intentioned, serve a good purpose and help the participants, but I don’t know of them. In fact, I can’t remember a time when any sentence uttered by an adult male that includes the words “boys” and “underwear” came off well.

But that didn't stop Cristiano Ronaldo from holding a "Boys Underwear Competition." And tweeting about it.
Who would have guessed that a “Boys Underwear Competition” wouldn’t come off well for a grown man?
The kicker is that the competition wasn’t actually boys modeling underwear. It was a fan contest to promote his new line of boys underwear where people send in photos of themselves doing crazy things. But they decided to call it a “Boys Underwear Competition.”
Whoever the agent or manager handling Ronaldo’s promotions may want to take a vacation. A long one.
