Dani Alves out seven to ten days with a slight calf muscle tear
Dani Alves joins the ever growing list of injured Barcelona starters as the fullback has been ruled out with a calf injury. As if the Blaugrana didn’t have enough injuries to deal with.

The club released a short statement on their official website explaining Alves’ diagnosis and the likely time out.
Tests carried out on Thursday morning have confirmed that Dani Alves has a slight tear of the right leg soleus muscle. He’ll be out for between 7 and 10 days.
Alves is definitely out of this weekend's league match against Granada and could miss Barcelona's Champions League match against Ajax next week as well. Given the troubles Barca have gotten themselves into by rushing back player from muscle injuries, you'd expect them to be cautious and make sure Alves is fully recovered before bring him back into the lineup.
Then again, winning is important.
