Arsenal have been surprisingly good so far this season, but not quite as surprising as their visitors on Saturday, Southampton. The Saints are currently just three points in arrears of the league-leading Gunners, and, providing Liverpool fail to win the Merseyside derby in Saturday's early kickoff, a win would see them move joint-top of the table.
Arsenal vs. Southampton: Preview and TV schedule
Southampton could move joint-top of the table by beating league leaders Arsenal on Saturday.

Unfortunately for Mauricio Pochettino's team, beating Arsenal is easier said than done -- they haven't done so in over a decade. However, having lost to Manchester United just before the international break, the Gunners' confidence may have taken a hit.
As per usual, the hosts' injury list is a long one. The suspended Mathieu Flamini will be a big miss in midfield after an impressive start to the season, though winger Theo Walcott could return from his lengthy injury layoff against his former club. For Southampton, only backup striker Guly do Prado is out.
Arsenal injuries and suspensions
Out: Yaya Sanogo (back), Lukas Podolski (hamstring), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (knee), Abou Diaby (knee), Mathieu Flamini (suspended). In doubt: Theo Walcott (abdominal).
Southampton injuries and suspensions
Out: Guly do Prado (knee). In doubt: None.
