Juventus vs. FC Copenhagen: Preview and TV schedule

Currently sitting bottom of Group B, Juventus are in need of a win on Wednesday. Fortunately, they’re playing Copenhagen.

Juventus have failed to win any of their opening four Champions League group games, leaving them bottom of Group B heading into matchday five. Fortunately for the bianconeri, Real Madrid are six points clear of everyone at the top of the table, and such has been their dominance, Juventus would likely move up into second place with a win over Copenhagen on Wednesday.

That’s because they’re only a point in arrears of both Copenhagen and Galatasaray, and it’s hard to see the Turkish giants picking up anything away at the Bernabéu. Likewise, Copenhagen may have managed to hold Juve to a draw at home, though it’s unlikely they’ll repeat the feat in Turin.

However, Copenhagen will take some heart from the lengthy injury list Antonio Conte currently has to contend with. Arguably the biggest misses for Juventus will be wing-back Stephan Lichtsteiner, with the utility man Martín Cáceres hardly an ideal replacement. Andrea Barzagli's absence should see Angelo Ogbonna play in the back three, while attacker Sebastian Giovinco is ruled out with a foot injury.

Juventus injuries and suspensions

Out: Mauricio Isla (knee), Simone Pepe (thigh), Stephan Lichtsteiner (thigh), Sebastian Giovinco (foot), Andrea Barzagli (thigh). In doubt: None.

FC Copenhagen injuries and suspensions
