Juventus vs. Real Madrid: Preview and TV schedule

Juventus welcome Real Madrid to Turin on Tuesday, still looking for their first Champions League win of the season.

Denis Doyle

We're now halfway through the Champions League group stages, but Italian champions Juventus are still looking for their first continental win of the season. They've picked up just two draws from their opening three matches, and are currently on course to only make it through into the Europa League knockout stages. They welcome Real Madrid to Turin on Tuesday, hoping to cut the group leaders' deficit to four points.

Los Merengues have had a perfect start to their European campaign, with their 2-1 win at home to Juventus last time out ensuring they retained a 100% win record. However, they weren’t wholly convincing at home to the bianconeri, and were slightly fortunate to come away with three points. This time, with home advantage on their side, Juventus will hope to exact revenge.

They'll have to do so without Giorgio Chiellini, who was sent off when these sides met a couple of weeks ago. He's sidelined alongside the injured Simone Pepe, Mirko Vučinić and Stephan Lichtsteiner. Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti only has one early absentee, with Fábio Coentrão sidelined due to an ankle injury.

Juventus injuries and suspensions

Out: Simone Pepe (thigh), Mirko Vučinić (thigh), Stephan Lichtsteiner (thigh), Giorgio Chiellini (suspended). In doubt: None.
