Borussia Dortmund vs. Arsenal: Preview and TV schedule

The highlight of Wednesday’s Champions League fixtures sees Borussia Dortmund welcome Arsenal to Signal Iduna Park.

The Champions League group of death has lived up to its billing at the halfway stage, with Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and Napoli all tied at the top of the group on six points. Needless to say, every point counts as we head into the final few matches.

Wednesday sees Borussia Dortmund welcome Arsenal to Signal Iduna Park, with both sides desperate to avoid defeat at all costs. The Germans won the reverse leg at the Emirates, though it was far from a dominant performance, and the Gunners will be out to exact revenge.

Arsène Wenger will once again be without several players through injury, with the latest names to be added to the list of absentees being Mathieu Flamini and Jack Wilshere, while Kieran Gibbs faces a fitness test on a calf problem. For Dortmund, Ilkay Gündogan and Łukasz Piszczek are both definitely out, while captain Sebastian Kehl will hope to recover form an ankle injury in time to be involved.
