FC Barcelona vs. Celtic: Preview and TV schedule

The Blaugrana are through to the next round but still need a point at home against Celtic to secure the top spot in Group H.

The particulars surrounding Wednesday meeting between Barcelona and Celtic at the Camp Nou are pretty straight forward. Barcelona have qualified for the knockout round but still need a point to secure first place while Celtic will not be advancing.

That leaves the Scottish side with just a shot at being a spoiler and potentially knocking Barca down to second if they could pull the unlikely upset.

Gerardo Martino got Jordi Alba back during the mid-week and he should be set to resume his roll at left back. Adriano will likely continue to fill-in on the right with Dani Alves still hobbled with a calf injury. Several players who were rested for Barca's Copa del Rey match should return as well including Gerard Piqué, Andrés Iniesta and Xavi.

Barcelona injuries and suspensions

Out: Lionel Messi (hamstring), Victor Valdes (calf), Dani Alves (calf), Cesc Fàbregas (suspended).

Celtic injuries and suspensions

Out: Beram Kayal (foot), Adam Matthews (collarbone), Steven Mouyokolo (Achilles), Emilio Izaguirre (suspended).

The trio of Messi, Valdés and Alves all remained sidelined with various muscle issues and will miss out for Barca. Celtic will be missing four players including Emilio Izaguirre who is serving a card accumulation suspension.

Celtic: Fraser Forster, Mikael Lustig, Efe Ambrose, Virgil van Dijk, Charlie Mulgrew, Beram Kayal, Scott Brown, Jose Ledley, Kris Commons, Gerogios Samaras, Anthony Stokes.
