Rumors swirled on Saturday morning that AC Milan had decided to sell Mario Balotelli, but the club have gone out of their way to issue a denial of the story on their website.
AC Milan deny Mario Balotelli sale rumors
Official denials from clubs mean more when the club is any club but AC Milan.

AC Milan smentisce assolutamente e con forza le dichiarazioni che sarebbero state attribuite al Presidente del Milan circa una impensabile collocazione di Mario Balotelli sul mercato. Mario Balotelli è e resta un giocatore del Milan.
That’s Milan denying reports that Mario Balotelli is on the market, calling his potential sale ‘unthinkable’. They say that Balotelli is and will remain a Milan player.
While firm denial of transfer rumors from official club websites is a fairly rare phenomena, this doesn't mean that Balotelli won't be sold if Il Secolo XIX's report is accurate. They claim that Milan CEO Adriano Galliani brought Balotelli to the club against the wishes of owner Silvio Berlusconi, who viewed him as a bad personality to have at the club and has not changed his mind. If Galliani and Berlusconi are going to fight on this issue, it's more likely that Galliani knows who to call on the Milan PR staff in order to get a message out on the club's website quickly.
With Milan and the Berlusconi family, nothing is ever set in stone. Balotelli could play for the club for the next decade just as easily as he could be sold on deadline day this January.
