December 3

Union Berlin 0-3 FC Kaiserslautern

FCK scored early, middle, and late to beat Union Berlin 3-0.

Hamburg 2-1 FC Köln

Bert Van Marwijk’s side received goals from Maximilian Beister and Ivo Ilicevic to outlast Köln and their goalscorer Adam Matuszczyk.

Schalke 1-3 Hoffenheim

Schalke doesn't have very many good players, and it always comes back to bite them. Hoffenheim jumped out to a 3-0 lead on Die Königsblauen with three goals in a fifteen minute stretch. Goals from Kai Herdling, Kevin Volland, and Roberto Firmino put Hoffenheim up 3-0 in the 35th minute, and Schalke could only manage a late goal from Jefferson Farfan.

Saarbrücken 0-2 Borussia Dortmund

Julian Schieber and Jonas Hofmann scored for Borussia Dortmund to easily see them past Saarbrücken.

December 4

Freiburg 1-2 Bayer Leverkusen

Robbie Kruse opened the scoring for Leverkusen in the very first minute of the match. Christian Günter equalized in the 14th minute to surprisingly pull Freiburg level with Leverkusen. Emre Can scored the winner for Leverkusen in the 77th minute.

Wolfsburg 2-1 Ingolstadt

Caiuby scored in the 17th minute to give Ingolstadt the 1-0 lead going into halftime, but Wolfsburg roared back in the second half on goals from Naldo and a late winner from Ivica Olic to advance to the quarterfinals.

Eintracht Frankfurt 4-2 Sandhausen

Eintracht Frankfurt threw away a two goal lead, but they still managed to win 4-2 against Sandhausen on a hat trick from Joselu.

Augsburg 0-2 Bayern Munich

Arjen Robben started things beautifully for FC Bayern just a couple of minutes into the match. Robben's initial shot was saved, but he grabbed the rebound and put it over the line to give Bayern the 1-0 advantage after four minutes. Robben would then be forced out of the match after a horror tackle from Augsburg goalkeeper Marwin Hitz. Somehow, Hitz avoided being sent off. Robben doesn't appear to be seriously injury, luckily for Bayern. Thomas Müller grabbed a goal in the second half to put Augsburg away in a match completely controlled by Bayern.
