There's not much to day about the first half other than Real Madrid didn't appear to be completely interested and the few chances they managed to create were dealt with effectively by Olimpic goalkeeper Francis.
Isco got an excellent chance to break the deadlock in the 56th minute after running on to an through ball on the right edge of the box. A combination of the ball bouncing up and an excellent recovery from defender Peralta Kike Alcázar denied Isco a clean shot.
Isco generated another chance in the 63rd minute, making a zig-zagging run through the midfield before feeding a through ball to Álvaro Morata. The young striker had an angle and most of the net open but his shot rolled wide of the far post.
Sticking with the consistent trend of the day, Karim Benzema missed an excellent chance in the 80th minute, sending his shot wide of the post.
