There will be at least three editions of the North London derby this season. The FA Cup third-round draw produced just one marquee fixture -- one between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur at Emirates Stadium -- but that's about as good of a third round fixture that ever pops up.

The first round of the FA Cup that features Premier League sides will be headlined by a North London derby at Emirates Stadium.

While there are no other clashes of the giants, there are a lot of cases of Premier League teams drawn against each other or very strong teams from the Championship, while tons of lower league sides have drawn each other. There will be an opportunity for a club from League One or lower to make a deep run in this year’s FA Cup.
The games will be contested on the weekend of the 4th of January. There are replays in the event of a draw, then extra time and penalties if the replay ends in a draw.
