Man stands to win £1m from 1p bet on tonight’s Champions League results
One man is set to complete a hundred million-to-one bet tonight if results in the two Champions League games go his way.

Yep, that’s bookmaker Coral confirming that one of their customers is set to win a million pounds from a stake of just one penny. And what’s more, both of tonight’s results he needs to come in - AC Milan 0-2 Barcelona and Galatasaray 1-1 Schalke - both look pretty likely.
That’s effectively odds of a hundred million to one - while some of these were pretty predictable, calling Juventus to beat Celtic 3-0 at home is particularly impressive. Or just a total fluke, depending on your point of view.
The punter in question then tweeted that he was “off to work for what could be the last time.” Quite.
UPDATE: Well, all good things must come to an end. It was very close, considering he appears to have gotten the Galatasaray-Schalke result correct, and Milan-Barcelona is indeed 2-0: unfortunately, to Milan. On the plus side, Coral were kind enough to provide a consolation:
