Sevilla vs. Atletico Madrid, 2013 Copa del Rey: TV schedule and preview

Atletico Madrid are 90 minutes away from booking a place in the Copa del Rey final against city rivals Real Madrid. Standing in their way is a Sevilla side that would love nothing more that to spoil a potential derby match-up.

Claudio Villa

With Real Madrid having secured their place in the Copa del Rey Final, it's time to decide who they will face. Madrid's city rivals Atletico Madrid hold a 2-1 advantage after the first leg and if they can take care of business today at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, we will all be rewarded with a El Derbi madrileño.

First things first though before we can start getting excited about that potential match-up. Head coach Diego Simeone rested Adrian during their win over Espanyol at the weekend and midfielder Cristian Rodriguez played limited minutes in the second half. Simeone also has no injuries or suspensions to deal with. Atleti are unlikely to be able to catch Barcelona for the league title and they were just knocked out of the Europa League, so the Copa del Rey is their last chance at a trophy this season.

Sevilla are in pretty good shape as well on the injury/suspension front with only one long term issue at the moment. Regulars Alvaro Negredo and Jose Antonio Reyes were rested over the weekend and there’s not doubt Unai Emery will need them to play a big role. Sevilla have failed to defeat Atletico Madrid in their last six attempts.

Sevilla injuries and suspensions

Out: Piotr Trochowski (knee), Andrés Palop (thigh), Diego Perotti (thigh),

Atletico Madrid injuries and suspensions

Atletico are healthy and suspension free while Sevilla's Trochowski is a long term injury. Andrés Palop and Diego Perotti have both been out since January.

Match Date/Time: 10 p.m. local, 4 p.m. ET

Venue: Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, Sevilla, Spain

TV: beIN Sport USA, beIN Sport en Español (U.S.), Sky Sports 2 (U.K.), TeleCinco Espana (Spain)
