France roster announced ahead of key Spain clash
Paul Pogba received an early birthday present, receiving his first senior team call-up ahead of France’s key match against Spain.


Juventus youngster Paul Pogba, who has been a fixture on French youth national teams, received his first senior team call-up and was called a "player of the future" by Deschamps. 24-year old Loic Remy was rewarded with a call-up as well after his recent excellent form with Queen Park Rangers after returning form injury.
Real Madrid's Raphael Varane is part of the French team for the third time and given his recent performances, especially against Barcelona, he might just be in line to receive his first cap. Franck Ribery, who is strugling with an ankle injury, has been included in the squad as well in hopes he'll recover in time to play.
France will host both games during this cycle at the Stade de France and
Goalkeepers: Mickael Landreau, Hugo Lloris, Steve Mandanda.
Defenders: Gael Clichy, Mathieu Debuchy, Patrice Evra, Christophe Jallet, Laurent Koscielny, Mamadou Sakho, Raphael Varane, Mapou Yanga-M'Biwa.
Midfielders: Yohan Cabaye, Maxime Gonalons, Blaise Matuidi, Dimitri Payet, Paul Pogba, Moussa Sissoko, Mathieu Valbuena.
Forwards: Karim Benzema, Olivier Giroud, Bafetimbi Gomis, Jeremy Menez, Loic Remy, Franck Ribery.
