Jose Villarreal probably has a ways to go before getting called into the full national team, but it's looking more and more as if it's just a matter of time before he does. The 19-year-old California native's latest example of quality came on Saturday when he scored a stoppage-time equalizer for the LA Galaxy in their 2-2 tie with Toronto FC.

The young Galaxy midfielder continues a rather torrid run, scoring his first goal of the MLS season but his fifth goal in all competitions over the past six weeks.
It wasn’t just the timing of the goal, but the way he scored it that was so impressive. The midfielder hit a left-footed semi-bicycle kick off a poor clearance from a TFC defender that easily found the back of the net.
The goal continues a rather impressive run of success over the past six weeks that now includes a league goal, another in CONCACAF Champions League and three for the United States U-20 team during World Cup qualifying.
The Homegrown Player has mostly played as an attacking midfielder with the Galaxy but can also play as a second striker. But if he keeps scoring goals like this, the future seems exceptionally bright.
