Out: Iker Casillas. In doubt: Xabi Alonso.
Jones is much less likely to play than Alonso of the two players in doubt, given Alex Ferguson’s comments that Jones is likely to miss out. Alonso has a nagging groin injury, but was rested at the weekend and is expected to start.
