Ramires ties the match at 2-2
Ba started the play in the midfield holding the ball up nicely and allowing his teammates to join the attack. Ba found Eden Hazard in the middle of the pitch who immediately moved the ball wide to Ramires who was running down the right wing.

Again Petr Cech looked extremely poor, getting himself in completely the wrong place as the ball was clearly going wide and he remained stuck in the center of the goal. It’s possible he was expecting one of his defenders to head the ball away but by the time he finally reacted, it was too late.
What a start for United and unless Chelsea can turn things around quickly, the defending FA Cup champions look to be on their way out.

Cech deserves some criticism for the goal though as he inexplicably tried to charge at Chicharito despite the fact he had a defender already there covering. If Cech had been deeper he likely would have had enough time to react to the header as it wasn’t a high speed attempt.
Either way, it’s a bad start of Chelsea and another strike against the Interim One as the Blues are in an early hole at Old Trafford.
