Paris Saint-Germain vs. Barcelona, 2013 UEFA Champions League: Lineups

David Beckham gets the start of PSG, while Xavi Hernandez and Jordi Alba both return from hamstring injuries to start for Barca.

Carlo Ancelotti has decided to go with David Beckham in the midfield over Marco Verratti, which as strange as it sounds makes sense based on current form. Having Beckham in the midfield trying to deal with some of the Barca's creative wizards could cause some concern though. Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front will be key for PSG against Barcelona's shaky defense, but that's not a surprise.

Barcelona have put out their current first choice lineup baed on the options available to Tito Vilanova. Alexis Sanchez starts in the place of the suspended Pedro Rodriguez and Javier Mascherano starts alongside Gerard Piqué with Carles Puyol sidelined after knee surgery. Xavi Hernandez and Jordi Alba both return after missing the weekend match with hamstring issues.

Paris Saint-Germain starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Salvatore Sirigu; Christophe Jallet, Thiago Silva, Alex, Maxwell; Blaise Matuidi, David Beckham; Moura, Javier Pastore, Ezequiel Lavezzi; Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Barcelona starting lineup (4-3-3): Victor Valdés; Dani Alves, Javier Mascherano, Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba; Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta, Xavi Hernandez; David Villa, Lionel Messi, Alexis Sanchez.
