Bayern Munich are largely as expected, while Juventus stick with their 3-5-2 as both teams prepare to contest their Champions League quarter-final.

Bayern Munich and Juventus are largely as expected as they face off at the Allianz Arena in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

Juventus pick their standard 3-5-2 with Federico Peluso at left-back, and Alessandro Matri and Fabio Quagliarella up front. Paul Pogba had been rumoured to start behind in place of one of the strikers in a 3-5-1-1, but the Frenchman has been left on the bench, with Arturo Vidal, Andrea Pirlo and Claudio Marchisio making up the midfield.

Bayern are also pretty much as expected - Mario Mandzukic starts up front, with Toni Kroos behind and Thomas Muller and Franck Ribery on the wings. Luiz Gustavo partners Bastian Schweinsteiger in midfield.

Bayern Munich starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Manuel Neuer; Philipp Lahm, Jerome Boateng, Dante, David Alaba; Bastian Schweinsteiger, Luiz Gustavo; Thomas Müller, Toni Kroos, Franck Ribery; Mario Mandzukic.

Juventus starting line-up (3-5-2): Gianluigi Buffon; Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini; Stephan Lichtsteiner, Arturo Vidal, Andrea Pirlo, Claudio Marchisio, Federico Peluso; Alessandro Matri, Fabio Quagliarella.
