Mirko Vučinić celebrates scoring... in his pants
Quite why footballers feel the need to strip after scoring, I’m not sure, but Juventus’ Mirko Vučinić has taken it one step further than usual.

In his sheer delight, goalscorer Mirko Vučinić had the rather strange urge to rip off his shorts, in an unusual and slightly alarming twist on the not-uncommon shirt removal celebration. It is an act quite often seen after a game, but during it is understandably less typical.
Despite there being no specific mention in the FIFA rules of the removal of shorts, the referee still booked Vucinic for his troubles, meaning the official must have considered it a “provocative, derisory or inflammatory” gesture.
It’s not the first time that Vučinić has expressed his joy in this bizarre way -- the Montenegrin did it when scoring for his national side in a Euro 2012 qualifying match against Switzerland in 2010. He was shown yellow then, too.
Sorry Mirko, but I don’t think it’s going to catch on.
