Brazil’s Confederations Cup roster will not feature Ronaldinho or Kaka
Head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has announced his roster for this summer’s Confederations Cup and has decided to not bring in the potential experience of Ronaldinho and Kaka.

While there are still plenty of big names on the roster, a few players who did not get a call-up have raised some eyebrows. Atletico Mineiro’s Ronaldinho and Real Madrid’s Kaka are the biggest names that will not be a part of FIFA’s pre-World Cup tournament that serves as a test run for the host nation one year in advance of the big event.
Kaka has been struggling to get consistent minutes with Madrid but Ronaldinho’s good form with Mineiro had many believing he’d done enough to earn a call-up.
Ramires and Alexandre Pato were also left off the roster while defender Rafael was left out due to an injury he's currently dealing with.
As for who did make the cut, Santos striker Neymar is on the roster joined by familiar faces like Hulk, Oscar, Dani Alves, Thiago SIlva and Julio Cesar.

Defenders: Thiago Silva (Paris Saint-Germain), Rever (Atletico Mineiro), David Luiz (Chelsea), Dante (Bayern Munich), Daniel Alves (Barcelona), Jean (Fluminense), Marcelo (Real Madrid), Felipe Luis (Atletico Madrid).
Midfielders: Fernando (Gremio), Hernanes (Lazio), Luiz Gustavo (Bayern Munich), Paulinho (Corinthians).
Attackers: Jadson (Sao Paulo), Oscar (Chelsea), Lucas (Paris Saint-Germain), Hulk (Zenit St. Petersburg), Bernard (Atletico Mineiro), Leandro Damiao (Internacional), Fred (Fluminense), Neymar (Santos).
