AC Milan's president Silvio Berlusconi supposedly "announced" in a letter read out on Italian television program Il Processo di Biscardi that "there will be a complete change of coaching staff" at the San Siro, in a quote that put Massimiliano Allegri's future as rossoneri coach in doubt.

After Milan only just squeezed into the Champions League, narrowly beating Siena this weekend, Allegri was due to discuss his future later this week. But, it seemed for a while that Berlu had decided the meeting wasn't worth the effort, and sending a note to a TV station would've saved him the bother. The nature of that letter has now been called into question.
In not-at-all surprising, haphazard fashion, Milan rushed out a denial that their president had effectively announced Allegri’s sacking on TV, stating that “Berlusconi has not left any type of statement today,” in a crazy situation which has left Milan’s behind-the-scenes situation looking as chaotic as a fair few of their on-field performances this season.
It’s nice to see the long-term plan that Milan seemed to have in place being carried out like a well-oiled machine.
