If Radamel Falcao wants to leave Atletico Madrid, he will be free to do so, according to club CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin. The club asked Falcao to stay for the 2012-13 season and promised that if he helped them finish in a Champions League place, they would do what they can to sell the striker to the club of his choice. Now they will make good on their promise.
Atletico Madrid to allow Falcao to leave this summer
Atletico Madrid will help Radamel Falcao move on to the club of his choice if he wants to leave this summer.

“Before the start of the season we talked with Falcao and promised him that if he kept the same performance and helped us into the Champions League, we would help him,” Marin admitted.
"Whatever decision he takes, we will be with him. We know what makes a good striker - we have sold and replaced Fernando Torres, Diego Forlan and Sergio Aguero. And now it is Falcao. I don't exactly who will be here next season, but you can be sure that Atletico will have a strong team."
Falcao has scored 70 goals in 90 matches since signing with Atletico in August 2011. In addition to a third place finish, Atletico also won the Copa del Rey thanks to their talisman, but it appears as if the Colombian’s run at the Estadio Calderon is over.
Falcao has been linked to Chelsea, Manchester City, Paris Saint-German and even newly rich Monaco. Wherever he goes, it will be for a pretty penny, both for him and Atletico.
