Tottenham Hotspur vs. Southampton, 2013 Premier League: Preview and TV Schedule

Tottenham Hotspur will look to keep up the pace in the fight for a top four place as they host Southampton at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham Hotspur continue the fight for a Champions League spot this weekend as they face what should be a winnable game, taking on Southampton at White Hart Lane.

With the Saints seven points clear, they are in no real danger of relegation and thus have little to play for, but Tottenham will still have to be wary of Mauricio Pocchetino's side, who have only lost one of their last five games. A win for Spurs would keep them in touch with Arsenal and able to leapfrog their rivals should they win their game in hand.

With Chelsea facing a considerable tougher test at Old Trafford at the weekend, it also presents a fine opportunity for Andre Villas-Boas' men to gain some ground on their rivals, and with many of their injured players now returned, a strong finish could see them gain the all-important European spot they crave.

Tottenham Hotspur injuries and suspensions

Out: Moussa Dembele, William Gallas (calf), Younes Kaboul (thigh), Sandro (knee)

Southampton injuries and suspensions

Out: Danny Fox (suspended), Gaston Ramirez (suspended) In doubt: James Ward-Prowse.

Moussa Dembele has a knock from the previous game, but has a good chance of being fit to play, while Tottenham’s only other injury concerns are long-term absentees Younes Kaboul and Sandro.

Southampton will be without Danny Fox and Gaston Ramirez, both of whom will miss the rest of the season after being sent off during their previous game against West Bromwich Albion. James Ward-Prowse has a knock and is likely, but not certain, to miss out.

Match Date\Time: Saturday 4th March, 3 p.m. local, 10 a.m. ET

Venue: White Hart Lane, London, England

TV: ESPN2 (U.S. English), ESPN Deportes (U.S. Spanish), TSN2 (Canada.)
