Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid face off on Saturday, May 17th in the Copa del Rey final. Since both teams were scheduled to play league matches on that day, two matches had to be moved forward in the schedule to clear space for the final.

With the Copa del Rey final falling on a Saturday, two league matches scheduled for week 36 involving the finalist have been moved up to Wednesday.
Celta Vigo vs. Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid were less than impressive in their scoreless draw against Deportivo La Coruña last week and probably ended their hopes of catching Real Madrid for second place. Fortunately for Los Colchoneros the point at least guaranteed them a Champions League place and they are well ahead of Real Sociedad for third place and the automatic spot it awards. Celta Vigo are unbeaten in three games and are two points from potential safety in 19th place.
Celta will be without Sergio Álvarez (shoulder) and Hugo Mallo (knee) while Atletico have no injuries or suspensions.
Real Madrid vs. Malaga
(21:30 CET, 3:30 p.m. ET)
Real Madrid are likely going to lose the La Liga title this week no matter what they do against Malaga and Espanyol. Even with two wins, Barcelona would only need three points on Sunday to clinch the title and finally end the race once and for all. Mourinho will likely rotate his lineup a bit with this being Madrid's second match (of three) in a eight day span. Malaga hit the wall again last week against Getafe, their second loss in their last three games, and find themselves closer to Betis in 7th than they are to Real Sociedad in fourth.
Madrid will likely be without Sergio Ramos (hamstring), Marcelo (hamstring) and Álvaro Arbeloa (back). Jesús Gámez has a knock and is in doubt for the match while Jérémy Toulalan has a broken toe.
