USA vs. Panama: Lineups

Eddie Johnson and Geoff Cameron start for the United States against Panama in the absence of some key contributors.

Jürgen Klinsmann has opted to replace Graham Zusi with Eddie Johnson and Jermaine Jones with Geoff Cameron, keeping his other nine players unchanged. Zusi is suspended, while Jones has a concussion. Cameron might be the closest thing to a like-for-like change for Jones physically and stylistically, but has not played in the center of midfield regularly over the last two years. Johnson usually plays as a striker for Seattle Sounders, but has played on the wing for the United States before.

Panama are without their best striker, Blas Perez.

United States starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Tim Howard; DaMarcus Beasley, Matt Besler, Omar Gonzalez, Brad Evans; Michael Bradley, Geoff Cameron; Fabian Johnson, Clint Dempsey, Eddie Johnson; Jozy Altidore

Kickoff is at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN and Univision Deportes in the United States. Because of the late start in the Mexico-Costa Rica game, the match may start on ESPN2.
