There’s no question Neymar is under a tremendous amount of pressure after his massive transfer to Barcelona. How quickly he’ll adapt to the European game and how he’ll fit into to the Barca system still remain to be seen. What there’s simply no question about is the youngster’s natural talent and ability.

It only took him three minutes into the opening match of the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup to remind the world of just how talented he is.

Check it out.

Fred deserves a ton of credit as well for the assist, but Neymar will get a majority of the laurels, and why not? That’s a superb strike and you could see that Neymar knew it was in the moment he struck the ball.

Chances are if you follow soccer you’ve at least heard about Neymar and you’ve probably watched the various highlight videos floating around on YouTube as well. If you’ve managed to stay safely hidden from the hype and talk about the Brazilian star, welcome aboard the hype train, it should be a fun ride.
