The Deutsche Fußball Liga released the schedule for the 2013-2014 Bundesliga campaign, and as you expected, every team plays every other team twice. Now that that shocking news is out of of the way... You can find the entire fixture list here. As you'll see, the schedule is not finalized at this time. The particular matches for each individual Matchday are set; however, the league won't finalize the particular dates for each match until we get closer to the start of the season. They will take into consideration the Bundesliga teams playing in either the Champions League or the Europa League before setting the dates. Also, adjustments are being made to accommodate Bayern Munich who will be playing in December's Club World Cup.
2013-14 Bundesliga schedule released: Bayern Munich open with Borussia Mönchengladbach
The DFL released the 2013-2014 Bundesliga fixture list on Friday, and the treble winning Bayern Munich will open the season with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Pep Guardiola's first league match
Pep Guardiola will get his first taste of Bundesliga action on Friday August 9 when Bayern Munich host Borussia Mönchengladbach in the first game of the season. Gladbach have been a bit of a bogey team for Bayern in recent years with the Bavarians only managing one win in their last four league matches. Hopefully, this match will be a sign of things to come in another fantastic Bundesliga season.
Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund
Obviously, this has become the showcase match for the Bundesliga over the last few seasons, but we’re going to have to wait until Matchday 13 for the first match between the two Bundesliga giants. On November 22-24, Bayern will travel to Signal Iduna Park to face BVB. The return match will be at the Allianz Arena on April 11-13. Of course, if you can’t wait until that date, Bayern and BVB will square off in the DFL Supercup on July 27.
Revierderby - Borussia Dortmund vs Schalke
The Bundesliga’s fiercest rivalry returns to the field on October 25-27 when Borussia Dortmund visit the Veltins Arena for a match with Schalke 04 with the return match at Signal Iduna Park on March 25-26. Schalke grabbed the advantage on the field last season with two 2-1 victories over their Ruhr rivals. However, at the end of the season, BVB were able to point at the table and their second place finish.
Promoted clubs start at home
Newly promoted clubs Eintracht Braunschweig and Hertha Berlin were handed matches at home in their respective returns to the Bundesliga. Die Löwen of Braunschweig will be hosting Robin Dutt’s Werder Bremen while Die Alte Dame from Berlin will get a visit from Eintracht Frankfurt.
