Brazil vs. Spain: Lineups

Brazil fields an unchanged team in the Confederations Cup final, while Spain has made one change to their lineup.

Brazil have made no changes to their starting lineup for the Confederations Cup final, with Luiz Felipe Scolari keeping faith in the 11 players that defeated Uruguay in the semifinal. Spain are taking a different approach after their disappointing performance against Italy. Fernando Torres keeps his place despite Roberto Soldado and Cesc Fabregas returning from injury, but Juan Mata plays ahead of the disappointing David Silva. Expect him to do quite a bit of interchanging with the most advanced midfielder, Andres Iniesta, who has played plenty of left forward for club and country.

Brazil starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Julio Cesar; Marcelo, Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Dani Alves; Paulinho, Luiz Gustavo; Hulk, Neymar, Oscar; Fred

Spain starting lineup (4-3-3): Iker Casillas; Jordi Alba, Gerard Pique, Sergio Ramos, Alvaro Arbeloa; Sergio Busquets, Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta; Juan Mata, Fernando Torres, Pedro Rodriguez

Kickoff is at 6 p.m, ET from the Maracana. The game can be seen on ESPN in the United States, BBC One in the U.K. and CBC in Canada.
