Uruguay vs. France: Preview
Uruguay continues their Confederations Cup preparation by welcoming a young French roster to Montevideo for a friendly.

Uruguay head coach Oscar Tabarez has brought in his first-choice roster, with the likes of Luis Suarez, Edinson Cavani and Diego Forlan all available. Tabarez' side has yet to win a match this season, scoring only two goals in three games. They'll need to get things together quickly too, as they currently sit sixth in CONMEBOL, two points behind Venezuela and Chile.
Uruguay will play a qualifier match against Venezuela on June 11 before the Confederations Cup begins on June 16.
France, meanwhile, travels with a roster featuring an average age of just over 25. Ten of the players have fewer than ten senior-level caps, with only four players -- Bacary Sagna, Hugo Lloris, Yoann Gorcuff and Karim Benzema -- having more than 30 caps.
Deschamps could hand debuts to FC Porto’s Eliaquim Mangala, Lyon’s Clement Grenier and Alexandre Lacazette and Saint-Etienne’s Josuha Guilavogui.
France, who are second in Group I, sit one point behind Spain in a playoff spot. They won't play their next qualifier until early September against Georgia.
Match date/time: Wednesday, 3 p.m. ET
