With two rounds left to play in Group F of CAF qualifying for next summer's World Cup, Nigeria took control of the top spot with a two point advantage over Malawi who were forced to settle for a draw with Nambia. Only the group winner advances to the third round of qualifying.
CAF Qualifying Wrap: Nigeria moves to the top of Group F
Nigeria have taken over first place in their CAF second round qualifying group thanks to a late goal from Ahmed Musaab. Malwai and Nambia played to a scoreless draw.

Nigeria stayed at the top of Group F thanks to an 80th minute goal from Efe Ambrose won possession deep in his own are and made a great long pass that connected with Ahmed Musaab who beat Kenyan goalkeeper Duncan Ochieng with a volleyed chip shot.
Nigeria, the defending Africa Cup of Nations winner, moved to the top spot in the group with the win, taking a two point lead of Malawi.
Malawi 0-0 Nambia
Malawi were held to a scoreless draw by Nambia today, allowing Nigeria to move clear of the Flames in the group. The two teams had been tied on five points going into the day but Malawi was unable to break through against Nambia.
