Manchester City have completed their fourth major signing of the summer, confirming the acquisition of Fiorentina and Montenegro star Stevan Jovetic on their official site. Unlike their previous buys, who've tended toward "good and in their prime," Jovetic is a developing star, already capable of playing at an elite level and with plenty of development left in him.
Stevan Jovetic completes Manchester City move
Manchester City have landed a bona fide young star, announcing the signing of Fiorentina’s Stevan Jovetic on their official site.

He'll wear number 35 at last year's Premier League runners-up, and you'd have to expect that Manuel Pellegrini will play him primarily in his best position, which is just behind the centre forward. Jovetic has struggled with injuries of late, which has robbed him of his consistency, but he's already a majestic player and at 23 we can expect great things. Whether he'll be worth his reported £25.7 million transfer fee plus wages (the length of his deal has yet to be disclosed, but it's almost certainly a five-year contract) is yet to be seen, however -- especially because David Silva will have some things to say about his playing time at the Etihad.
