Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that the club has reached an agreement with FC Twente over the transfer of Belgian midfielder Nacer Chadli. Although personal terms need to be agreed upon and a medical needs passing, at this point the move is all but done, and Chadli will join the team in Asia as part of pre-season training.
Nacer Chadli transfer agreed, say Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed an agreement with FC Twente to bring midfielder Nacer Chadli to White Hart Lane.

Rumour has the fee at around 7 million, which, considering how good he’s been in the Eredivisie, seems like a bargain. At 23 years old, he’s got plenty of time to develop, and he’s already playing at a high enough level to make a difference for Spurs immediately. One has to imagine that Daniel Levy and company have been chasing his signature for some time -- Chadli impressed when he got the chance to play against Tottenham in the Champions League with Twente two seasons ago, scoring twice against them.
Now he’ll be trying to help them to get back into that competition. With everyone at the top of the league strengthening themselves, it’ll be a hard task, but this is the sort of deal that can help Spurs both now and in the future.
