Real Madrid have signed talented winger Jese Rodriguez to a new contract that will keep one of best young players in the world at the Bernabeu for the foreseeable future.

Tottenham had been reportedly trying to make a run at signing the Spain U-20 star, but were unable to pull off a deal as Los Blancos appeared unwilling to let him get away. Either that or Madrid just wanted to ensure Rodriguez didn’t get away from them of a free transfer as he was just entering the final year of his contract.
Rodriguez was a regular for Real Madrid B last season in the Segunda Division and scored five goals at this summer's U-20 World Cup in Turkey.
The new deal is for four years and will play the winger somewhere in the vicinity of €1.8 million per year, according to reports.
