If you thought Liverpool’s away kits were bad...

Pretty much everyone is agreed that Liverpool's magic-eye away kits are some sort of drug-fueled nightmare. They're horrendous more or less every sense of the word. Warrior's response to the widespread abuse they got over designing the thing has been... to make the third kits look even worse:

Mismatched socks! MISMATCHED SOCKS! RUN FOR THE HILLS.

I am really fascinated by the thought process that must have gone into these kits. It’s like they’re taking every sensible rule of design and completely ignoring it. The 120 degree angle doesn’t really work on football kits. The shading is really strange-looking as well as inconsistent. The sleeves have (mismatched), strangely-shaped splashes of colour. The banding on the socks is essentially random.

Even if Warrior are paying Liverpool much more than adidas ever did, I’m really not sure it’s worth it for them.
