A.S. Roma put on a show at a sold out in Wednesday’s MLS All-Star Game. The Giallorossi were scintillating and wowed the sold out crowd at Sporting Park en route to a 3-1 win over the MLS All-Stars in Kansas City, Kan.

The MLS All-Star Game belonged to A.S. Roma, who sparkled at Sporting Park.

Alessandro Florenzi had a goal and an assist to earn MVP honors , but several Roma players could have taken home the award. The club's new signing Kevin Strootman made a good impression with a goal and assist of his own and Francesco Totti looked a step above the rest with a series of sublime passes.
It took all of three minutes for Roma to go in front, although it take take a bit of fortune. Florenzi's through ball played Strootman in on goal and while Aurelien Collin did his best to tackle the ball away from behind, he just hit the ball off of Strootman's leg and into the goal.
Roma continued to pressure and looked to have doubled their lead three minutes later, but Junior Tallo was ruled offside. The visitors bossed the rest of the half and while they didn’t get anything more to show for it, it didn’t take them long in the second half to add to their lead.
Just two minutes after the break, Florenzi beat Corey Ashe and Federico Balzarertti's long cross found him all alone. From there, it took a simple finish and Roma were off and running again.
Roma weren't content with their two-goal lead and continued to overwhelm the MLS All-Stars. Michael Bradley got in on the action in the 68th minutes with a slick pass that played Strootman in along on goal, but instead of have the go himself, the Dutchman played a square ball for Tello to tap in. Roma had themselves a 3-0 lead and nobody could argue that it wasn't thoroughly deserved.
MLS never challenged Morgan De Sanctis or Bogdon Lobont. They forced just three saves from the two Roma goalkeepers, none of them difficult before Omar Gonzalez scored in stoppage time when he head home a Camilo free kick, but by then the match was long over.
Roma were better from beginning to end, and they had a win to prove it.
