Tottenham Hotspur vs. Swansea City: Lineups

Tottenham Hotspur look to build on their 1-0 win at Selhurst Park on the opening day of the season, while Swansea continue their difficult start. The Swans are coming off a battering at the hands of the defending champions, and a visit to White Hart lane doesn’t exactly mean things are getting any easier.

There’s no Gareth Bale, and this Spurs lineup looks distinctly unfamiliar -- only one player out of the front six was a regular last season. It’ll be especially interesting to see how the Etienne Capoue-Moussa Dembele-Paulinho midfield works together.

Tottenham Hotspur starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Hugo Lloris; Danny Rose, Jan Vertonghen, Michael Dawson, Kyle Walker; Etienne Capoue, Moussa Dembele, Paulinho; Andros Townsend, Roberto Soldado, Nacer Chadli.

Substitutes from: Brad Friedel, Younes Kaboul, Kyle Naughton, Tom Carroll, Sandro, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Jermain Defoe.

Swansea City starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Michel Vorm; Ben Davies, Ashley Williams, Chico Flores, Angel Rangel; Jose Canas, Jonathan de Guzman; Pablo Hernandez, Jonjo Shelvey, Wayne Routledge; Michu.

Substitutes from: Gerhard Tremmel, Jordi Amat, Jazz Richards, Leon Britton, Alejandro Pozuelo, Roland Lamah, Wilfried Bony.
