Bayern Munich will travel to Freiburg on Tuesday for the lone midweek Bundesliga game of Week 4. The match has been moved up from the weekend do to Bayern's participation in Friday's UEFA Supercup. As the winner of the Champions League, they will face the winner of last season's Europa League, Chelsea.

Freiburg finished last season in fifth place, a spot that nobody picked them in at the beginning of the season. However, most (five!) of the starters were sold over the summer. Christian Streich hasn’t been able to get the newfangled squad to perform up to his specifications yet. With just one point out of their first nine, a visit from the treble winners isn’t exactly what the doctor ordered.
Bayern have won all three matches to start the season and are coming off of a win against Nürnberg where they held 80% possession. There have been some concerns with Pep Guardiola’s formation and commitment to defense; however, Pep’s team appears to be getting stronger in recent weeks.
Freiburg haven’t beaten Bayern in their last 22 games, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to change on Tuesday. Bayern will likely extend their Bundesliga unbeaten run to 29 games, placing them just 6 short of Hamburg’s impressive streak in the early 1980s.
