Schalke sign Kevin-Prince Boateng from AC Milan
Midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has completed a surprise move from AC Milan to Schalke 04.

It's a surprise move, with the midfielder having been a regular in Massimiliano Allegri's rossoneri team over the last few seasons. He moved to the San Siro from Genoa in 2010 and made 74 league appearances in total, playing an important role in the club's scudetto win in 2011. Deployed in a variety of positions, including as a deep and attacking midfielder, winger and even false nine, his versatility was stretched by the Milan coach.
According to reports in Italy, the rossoneri are now turning their attention to Real Madrid’s Kaká as a midfield replacement. The veteran Brazilian previously played for Milan between 2003 and 2009, and, after reportedly requesting a departure from his current club, a return could be in the offing.
